The new updates focused on the suspension system, electric steering, and pedals, enhancing responsiveness and stability while driving. The attractive coupe also received new 18-inch copper wheels, high-performance Brembo brakes, and a new green paint color, which will be available for only 200 units in Japan, adding an exclusive touch to this model.
The updates also include new daytime running lights and a tire pressure monitoring system, along with improvements to the 6-speed automatic transmission, while the manual option remains available.
Engine and Price in Japan
The Toyota GR86 continues with the current 2.4-liter 4-cylinder gasoline engine, providing a power output of 228 horsepower and a torque of 250 Newton meters, with power transmitted to the rear wheels.
Toyota has begun accepting orders for the 2025 GR86 and expects demand to exceed production capacity. The starting price of the car is 3,518,000 Japanese yen, which is equivalent to 22,120 US dollars or 83,000 Saudi riyals before taxes.
