Nissan has officially unveiled some updates for the 2025 GT-R in the Japanese market. The vehicle now offers a new blue interior option and Nismo features for the T-Spec and Track Edition models. Rumors suggest that the 2025 Nissan GT-R may be the last iteration of the R35 generation, which has been around since 2007.
The car comes in its final version without any exterior updates, retaining the redesigned parts introduced with the 2024 facelift. The same applies to the interior, although the GT-R Premium Edition receives the new Heaven Blue upholstery option. The only change for the 2025 model is the addition of the Premium Edition T-Spec and Track Edition.
The cars now feature engine updates with connecting rods and crankshafts that were previously exclusive to the Nismo Special Edition. As a result, the V6 engine has received updates. The 3.8-liter twin-turbo V6 engine produces the same 565 horsepower in the standard GT-R model, while it generates 600 horsepower in the flagship Nismo variant, which also benefits from a special chassis setup for this version.
The 2025 Nissan GT-R is already available for reservation in Japan, with expected deliveries commencing in June 2024. Prices have increased compared to last year, starting at $97,703 for the base GT-R Pure Edition, and rising to $207,088 for the most expensive GT-R Nismo version. A recent report from the Japanese magazine Mag X indicated that the availability of the 2025 Nissan GT-R will be limited to 1,500 units, although this has not been officially confirmed by Nissan.
