Ford has begun accepting reservations for the 2025 F-150 Series Super Duty trucks, with prices starting at $45,300 for the F-250 model. The F-350 starts at $46,595, marking increases of $330 and $580 respectively. While no one likes price hikes, the F-250 is priced lower than the 2025 Chevrolet Silverado 2500 HD. However, the Silverado 3500 HD is $95 less than the F-350.
So, what’s new for 2025? Not much, as the trucks just received a comprehensive update in 2023. However, there are a variety of updates related to design, equipment, and touches. Luxury trucks have gained immense popularity, and Ford aims to leverage this with the addition of a new Platinum Plus edition or package. This adds a satin-finished front grille with bright chrome accents and an exclusive interior in Smoked Truffle color. The new package features reclining seats covered in perforated gun leather with French stitching. The model also comes with a 7.2-kilowatt Pro Power Onboard system.
The standard Platinum version comes with body-colored door handles and a black-painted grille with matching rear embroidery. Inside, there is a new black interior with platinum blue accents. For the lower Lariat versions, they come with ActiveX upholstery and a matching steering wheel, with a fixed rear window featuring special glass and a defrost function.
It appears that the Limited edition has been discontinued, as it is not available in any of the three models: F-250, 350, or 450. The top model starts at $97,095 for the F-250 and goes up to $104,030 for the F-450. Additional changes are limited, but buyers will find two new colors named Avanch and metallic Ruby Red, along with an updated black package merging with previous black packages and the sport design package.
The highlights also include the new Ford Pro Vehicle Integration System 2.0 with new trailer technology packages, including a package combining auxiliary camera and trailer tire pressure monitoring system.
The XL, XLT, and Lariat versions are powered by a 6.8-liter V8 engine producing 405 horsepower and 603 Newton-meters of torque. The 7.3-liter V8 engine remains available, but is now limited to King Ranch and Platinum versions, offering 430 horsepower and 657 Newton-meters of torque. All versions also offer a 6.7-liter diesel engine producing 475 horsepower and torque up to 1422 Newton-meters, rising to 500 horsepower and 1625 Newton-meters of torque.
