Over the past few months, several test versions of the 2025 Ford Expedition have been spotted under varying levels of camouflage. These images provide us with a very good insight into what to expect from the upcoming updates for this large SUV, which follows the previous changes made for the 2022 model. Another testing of the 2025 Ford Expedition has now been observed, offering a better view of the vehicle influenced by the new design of the Ford F-150 and the 2025 Ford Explorer.
The model features a front-end design that closely resembles that of the updated 2024 Ford F-150, revealing a profile that is lower than any previous versions of the vehicle. Specifically, this part of the large SUV's front resembles the STX, XLT, and Tremor trims, with headlights similar to those peeking through the camouflage. The grille design also somewhat recalls that of the redesigned 2024 Ford.
This is not surprising given that the Expedition shares a platform and other mechanical parts with the F-150. However, once we reach the rear of this prototype, we can also get a better look at the new rear door design for the 2025 model. The door somewhat resembles the styling found in the Everest and also the updated 2025 Ford Explorer. The images provide a better view of the new taillight design and the rear door itself.
New details for the vehicle include 24-inch wheels and new taillight designs. The rear also shares similarities with Range Rover vehicles. Inside the cabin, the 2025 Ford Expedition is also set to receive some updates in the form of a refined design and a new infotainment screen.
Regarding engines, the 2025 Ford Expedition might receive hybrid options as part of the upcoming update.
