Porsche has officially launched the updated version of the 2024 Cayenne GTS, which draws advanced technologies from the Cayenne Turbo GT, enhances standard equipment, and features several changes in exterior design. The starting price for the traditional sport utility vehicle Cayenne GTS is £106,100, while the coupe version starts slightly higher at £107,700.
In terms of appearance, the Cayenne GTS has undergone simple yet significant modifications. The Porsche Sport Design package is now offered as standard, along with HD LED headlights. The package also adds glossy black side skirts, window trims, front trims, and wheel arch extensions. Additionally, the exhaust outlets have changed from black to bronze, and the wheels are finished in gray, measuring 21 inches.
Although the Cayenne GTS looks quite similar to its predecessor from the outside, substantial changes have been made to the vehicle. This SUV now features a new body technology and is 10mm lower than before. The adaptive air suspension system, already used in the Cayenne Turbo E-Hybrid and Turbo GT, is now standard on the GTS.
In addition to improving ride comfort, the GTS also comes with Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM) and Porsche Torque Vectoring Plus (PTV Plus).
The GTS continues to be powered by a 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 engine, but Porsche states it has been technically optimized for 2024. Power has increased from 454 horsepower to 493 horsepower, and torque has also risen.
The 8-speed Tiptronic S transmission in the GTS has also been modified to provide faster response. The vehicle accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.4 seconds, which is 0.1 seconds faster than before, with a top speed of 275 km/h.
Interior changes include the addition of the latest Porsche Driver Experience system, featuring a standard curved digital display for the driver. Other new standard features include ambient lighting and a premium Bose sound system. The Cayenne GTS coupe models come with a panoramic roof and extended rear spoiler. There is also an option to add an infotainment display next to the passenger.
Additionally, three weight-reduction packages are available, which can reduce the Cayenne GTS's weight by up to 25 kg. These options include a carbon rear diffuser, a lighter roof, and less insulation material.
