On May 1st, Chery launched three models of the 2024 lineup, including the Tiggo 7, with prices ranging from $10,300 to $13,400. This vehicle is a facelift of the base model, with enhancements in interior design and functionality.
The exterior of the Chery Tiggo 7 2024 has minor changes, featuring a front face with a large number of chrome dots and a slightly altered grille shape. The rear continues the same design with dual exhaust outlets and distinctive taillights. Three exterior colors are available: pearl white, black, and quantum gray.
The dimensions of the Chery Tiggo 7 2024 are 4500 mm in length, 1842 mm in width, and 1746 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2670 mm. The side profile has not changed significantly from the old model, except for an update of the trim color from black to silver. The new vehicle comes with 17 or 18-inch wheels, with tire specifications of 225/65 R17 and 225/60 R18.
The new model adds an external camera and three ultrasonic radars for advanced driver assistance features, including anti-lock braking and emergency braking systems. Inside, the biggest change is the addition of a 24.6-inch dual display and a new dark brown interior. The steering wheel features a flat-bottom design, with a full LCD instrument cluster of 12.3 inches and a central control screen of the same size.
The higher trim adds a 360-degree high-definition image display and front seat heating. Leather seats, automatic air conditioning, keyless entry/start, and a six-speaker audio system are now standard features. Chery also claims that NVH (noise, vibration, and harshness) levels have been reduced.
The powertrain remains unchanged, featuring a 1.5-liter engine with a 6-speed manual transmission and a 9-speed CVT automatic transmission, producing a power output of 115 kW and a maximum torque of 230 Nm.
