The Mercedes AMG GLA 45 has received updates for the 2024 model year following the modifications made to the GLA lineup earlier this year.

Although the changes are not significant, they add more appeal and new features to this luxury high-performance vehicle. The main updates for the 2024 GLA 45 S 4Matic+ are at the front end, featuring a new grille and redesigned air intakes, similar to the standard model.
The AMG badge has replaced the three-pointed star on the hood, although the latter still appears on the new grille. The LED headlights have also been redesigned, with an optional upgrade to Multibeam LED lights now available.

The wheel arch extensions of the AMG GLA 45 are no longer black; they have been updated to match the body color. Other exterior modifications include updated LED taillights, red brakes, and standard 19-inch wheels.

There are also two options for 20-inch wheels with five-spoke designs, while a larger 21-inch set is also available. Inside, the 2024 model features a revised MBUX infotainment system with an AMG-specific screen design, supporting wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

The driver will enjoy the latest AMG Performance steering wheel, which is also seen in larger AMG SUVs. Interior options include brown open-pore wood, gray/black Artico synthetic leather, as well as Bahia brown microfibre and red/black leather seat covers.

Unlike the rest of the GLA family, the updated AMG GLA 45 does not receive a mild hybrid system. It retains the unchanged 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine, still producing 416 horsepower in the European S specification, with a 0 to 100 km/h acceleration in 4.3 seconds and a top speed of 300 km/h.

This sporty crossover utilizes an 8-speed dual-clutch transmission with electronic distribution between the left and right wheels at the rear. Mercedes-Benz has not announced the pricing for the 2024 GLA 45 S 4Matic+, and it is unclear if this will be the last update for the model before the full transition to electricity.
