Hey guys, this car's CVT tends to overheat and go into protection mode on long highway trips. After around 300 kilometers, it often happens, especially with a lot of uphill driving. The top speed is limited to 90 km/h for a few minutes until it resets. Has anyone else experienced this issue?

After removing the aging rubber ring around the air filter of the 2.0 engine, the engine starts to roar and sound hollow above 1500 RPM. Could this be due to a gap causing the issue?

Noise issue, seeking advice from experts. I have a 2020 1.6 manual ASX. When driving on highways or national roads, once I go over 100 km/h, there's a knocking sound from the back after a bump, like a board isn't fixed properly. Yesterday, it was really annoying while on the national road. Even after stopping the car and restarting it, the knocking sound was still there. When I got home and tested it again, it was gone. This has been happening for a while, and I've checked multiple times but couldn't find the cause. Considering yesterday's situation, I suspect it might be an exhaust pipe issue. Has any fellow car owner experienced a similar problem?

Hey car enthusiasts, has anyone never changed their CVT transmission fluid? Mine's been 6 years and almost 80,000 kilometers. I'm not sure whether to change it or not. Some say you don't need to, and changing it might actually cause problems. But I'm also worried about not maintaining it properly. Any advice?

I have a question for the owners of the 4WD version of this car. Today, I asked a friend if setting the 4WD selector to 2WD on the Outlander Sport makes the fuel consumption the same as the 2WD version. He said no, even if you set it to 2WD, there's still some power loss, and the fuel consumption is higher than the pure 2WD version. Is that true, folks?
