The main reason I chose the Ford Taurus was its spacious interior — it’s especially comfortable for someone with a larger build like me. I didn’t find that level of comfort in the Peugeot 508. The car feels stable on the road, and the sound insulation is excellent, especially at highway speeds — unlike some other cars like the Avalon, which can be quite noisy. The engine is powerful and offers great acceleration, even though the transmission can feel a bit hesitant at times, but you get used to it. What I didn’t really like is the interior — the color options are dark and limited in the mid-range trims, and the ambient lighting is basic and doesn’t reflect the car’s premium feel. Still, features like the 360° camera, comfortable seating, and excellent insulation make up for it. I bought it and haven’t regretted it.

I'm a resident of Dubai, and I was looking for a comfortable and practical car — especially now that my kids are growing up and the old car just isn't enough anymore. I was torn between a few models; I tried the Passat and the Accord — both had their advantages — but when I came back and test-drove the Ford Taurus, I immediately felt the difference, especially in sound insulation and highway stability. The car has a 2.0T engine, and the torque is impressive — especially on the highway, where you really feel confident and relaxed. The features are excellent: ventilated and heated seats, a screen with voice commands, radar, adaptive cruise control, and even semi-autonomous driving. The rear space is great, and the comfort level is better than many cars in the same price range. Plus, with the BO sound system and good insulation, the cabin feels upscale and quiet. I haven't faced any real issues so far, but you do need to get used to the fuel consumption — especially if you're mainly driving in the city. I drive it daily, and the average fuel consumption is about 9 liters per 100 km, which I find reasonable. If you're looking for a comfortable, somewhat luxurious car that's enjoyable to drive, the Taurus is an excellent option. Even if it's not a very common choice, it definitely gives you the feeling of being unique.

The compass on the dashboard is always showing north and doesn't move. Does anyone know how to adjust it?

I'm considering buying a 2017 Ford Taurus. I'd like to know if there's a significant difference in fuel economy between the 2.7L and 2.0L engines. Can anyone help?

Hey folks, the car is uneven on one side, the driver's side is 3cm lower. I've replaced all the springs and shock absorbers, and also changed all the chassis bushings, but it's still the same. The driver's side leans heavily when turning. Can any experts offer some advice?

How to choose between Taurus 2.0 and 2.7, thanks.

Is the 2.7 really better than the 2.0, or should I just stick with the 2.0? Referring to the Taurus.

When driving at speeds between 80 and 90 km/h, the car's chassis vibrates, but it becomes smooth again at speeds of 100 km/h. What could be the reason for this?
