Hey folks, I've heard that for models after 2018, the oil pump belt tends to break easily after 60,000 km, leading to major engine repairs. Has anyone driven high mileage without replacing it?

I own a 2014 SsangYong Korando, 2WD high trim, 2.0 gasoline. Recently, the check engine light occasionally turns on with the error code indicating a misfire in cylinder 1. Sometimes it turns off by itself. I've swapped spark plugs between cylinder 1 and 2, ignition coils between cylinder 1 and 3, and even swapped the injectors. I planned to use elimination to check if it's the injector issue, but after each swap, the misfire code for cylinder 1 still comes back eventually! The engine idles with slight vibrations, but I don't feel any power loss on the highway—it easily goes over 160 km/h. Later, I measured the cylinder pressure: cylinder 1 is at 8 kg, while the others are over 10 kg. After researching online, I suspect it's an exhaust valve issue. Now I'm really torn. Should I just let it be, or go for a major repair? I read online that some people can fix it by opening the cylinder head without removing the engine. But the local big auto shop is no more, and the private mechanic suggests removing the engine, which I really don't want to do—worried it won't fit back as perfectly as the original. It's stressful because I bought this as a first car for my father, who has loved cars all his life, and now this happens. I've been to various places without a clear diagnosis. Some say it's slight cylinder wear, some say valve leakage, and others mention cylinder head design flaws. Any advice from fellow Korando owners on how to solve similar issues would be greatly appreciated!
How's the 2011 1.4T manual used Touran? I've heard the piston rings tend to break. Anyone familiar with this issue?
Model X, 40,000 km. There's a consistent humming noise from the rear wheels while driving, most noticeable at speeds of 35-40 km/h. You can feel a slight vibration in the floor when sitting in the back seat. I've been to the dealership a couple of times for this, and the last time, the technician confirmed the noise. After checking, they said the half axles are fine and concluded it's due to tire aging. I've heard that 21-inch tires tend to wear unevenly and might need replacement around 40,000 km. The tires only have 40,000 km on them, and the tread still looks clear. Is this really possible?
4I have a 2011 Smart W451, and there's a buzzing noise after starting the engine. Here's what's happening: when I start the engine, everything is normal for the first 2 seconds, but after that, a low-frequency buzzing sound begins. The noise seems to come from the rear of the engine, near the inside of the passenger side. There are no fault codes, and everything else like acceleration and speed is smooth with no issues. I recently changed the fuel pump and haven't finished a full tank yet. The noise inside the car seems to be coming from below the passenger seat but slightly forward. I've changed the engine mounts, and the alternator belt looks fine. Has anyone experienced the same issue? Any help would be appreciated.
5Is there a spare part for this car's steering column? It tends to break easily.
6Hey guys, when is the Levante getting a major update? I heard last year it would be this year, with the Grecale's interior. But foreign websites say that after the update, it will be an all-electric version.

8Can I still consider getting a 3.6 from 2017 to 2023 after a few years? I really like this model but I'm not a fan of the new Cherokee design. Plus, there aren't many 3.6 models from 2017 onwards available in the market. Our family car still has about five to six years before it retires. I'm worried about buying it only to face major repairs. Can I still consider getting one with higher mileage by then?
9My relative gave me a 2006 Peugeot automatic 1.6L 307. A few days ago, it was running low on fuel (almost to the red line), and the range showed there were 60km left. Suddenly, it made a "ka" sound and everything stopped, showing something about "gearbox." After turning it off and restarting, it was fine, and adding fuel prevented the issue from happening again. Should I get it checked? The mileage was over 60,000 when I got it, and now it's at 88,000. Seeking advice from the forum experts.
