Does anyone know what the engine RPM is for a naturally aspirated engine when driving at 100 km/h on a flat road?

Why does my 2007 S80 with a 3.2 engine need 2300 RPM to run at 120 km/h? Also, a full tank only gets me a bit over 300 km in the city. The official 0-100 km/h acceleration is supposed to be 7.9 seconds, but it doesn't feel like that to me. Does anyone know what's going on?
