I've experienced the same issue these past couple of days. When I try to lock the car, it won't lock, and the dashboard shows that the front passenger door isn't closed properly. The weird part is, I didn't even open the front passenger door. I have to slam the door shut again to lock the car. [I need some peace]

Check if the back door is closed properly. This car's back door is too light, and it won't close securely unless you slam it.
