Is the Nissan X-Trail EP using a direct or indirect TPMS? If it's direct, after inflating the tires, it doesn't update the tire pressure immediately; it only shows the new pressure data after driving for a while, which seems a bit like the characteristics of ABS estimation. If it's indirect, it can still independently display the pressure of each tire, and the manual also mentions that the tire pressure display might be affected by wireless interference, which sounds more like the working principle of in-tire pressure sensors. So, I'm not quite sure why this TPMS needs to activate at speeds above 25 km/h.

So far, all the cars I've driven with tire pressure monitoring require driving a certain distance before the tire pressure is displayed. This includes the new Mercedes S-Class, Toyota Vellfire, and Tesla Model X.

Also, I don't quite understand why this part uses a rubber valve instead of an aluminum alloy one. It ages easily.

When I inflate the tires, the pressure will show up, but it takes a while. Previously, when the front tire reached 2.2, I would wait for the car to cool down before inflating again (using my portable pump connected to the trunk battery). At first, it doesn't show, but after a while of inflating, it does.

Direct sensor without built-in electromagnetic coil.

To save power, the sensors only work when the car is in motion.
