I have a 2009 Toyota Yaris 1.6 automatic. Recently, the car has been making strange noises. It sounds like a spring or shock absorber is out of place. Does anyone know what the issue might be? Is it serious?

You should go to the repair shop and have it checked. Old cars definitely have more issues.

Hey experts, does the older model Prius share its shock absorbers with any other Toyota model? Thanks 🙏

I have a 2018 GS7, and there's a strange noise coming from the left shock absorber. It makes a "thud" sound when going over small bumps, but there's no noise over larger bumps. I went to the dealership, and they said there's an issue with the shock absorber and suggested replacing the assembly. However, they also mentioned that if I don't replace it, it's not a big issue, just the noise. I'm wondering how I should deal with this situation.

I just bought a small Volvo, 2008 model. The condition is pretty good, but the shock absorber springs are too hard. Have any of you experts replaced them, or know which other cars have compatible parts? Thanks!

Hey folks, the car is uneven on one side, the driver's side is 3cm lower. I've replaced all the springs and shock absorbers, and also changed all the chassis bushings, but it's still the same. The driver's side leans heavily when turning. Can any experts offer some advice?

I bought a 2009 Yaris RS 1.6 automatic for 30,000 RMB with 110,000 km on it. The exterior and interior are in good condition. Is it expensive?

MG3 2013 model 1.3L manual. Around July last year, the clutch wouldn't spring back, so I replaced the clutch kit. Recently, with the hot weather, the issue has reappeared several times. When the car heats up, the clutch rebound is particularly slow, and after a while, it won't rebound at all. If I park by the roadside for a bit, it gets slightly better. There's also a strange noise when pressing the clutch.

I bought a 2007 1.6 automatic luxury model for 16,000 in 2022. It was noisy and not easy to drive, so I ended up spending 12,000 on it gradually. I replaced the shock absorbers, engine mounts, stabilizer bar, light bulbs, bearings, and cleaned the engine—pretty much everything that needed fixing. It's much better to drive now and feels like it can last a few more years. I have to say, the parts are really cheap. The city fuel consumption averages 8.8, and I drive pretty aggressively.

I accidentally hit the curb with my left rear wheel and the tire got damaged. During the four-wheel alignment, they said it couldn't be fully adjusted. If the tire is damaged, does it really require changing the shock absorber? Is it really that serious?
