Dear fellow car enthusiasts,
I've been experiencing an issue with my 2008 Yaris where it occasionally stalls while idling at a red light. After restarting, it might stall again at the next red light. This happens two or three times, but then it runs fine afterwards. There are no error codes on the dashboard, and when I took it to the repair shop, the diagnostics showed everything was normal. Does anyone know what the problem might be?

Idle stalling is usually related to fuel or electrical issues. If you have used counterfeit engine oil and haven't done regular maintenance, leading to increased carbon deposits in the cylinders and fuel injectors, then a major overhaul might be necessary. 💡

Hello, since it's an old car, there can be many issues to consider. First, check if the spark plugs and ignition wires are functioning properly. Then, look into the fuel supply line and fuel injectors to see if they are clear and working well, including checking the fuel pump. Lastly, check if the throttle body is dirty and replace the air filter. For deeper issues, it's best to go to a 4S shop for inspection. Hope this helps! 😊
