I've had this car for over three months, and after driving more than 4,000 kilometers, it feels really sluggish below 3000 RPM, like it's lacking power. Can any experts help me out? Thanks. It's a 2.7.

If you're expecting the Hilux to accelerate quickly, forget about it... That's a common issue with Hilux (naturally aspirated), but its power is solid! Towing stuff or going off-road is no problem at all. 😁 My Hilux does feel a bit weak when shifting between 2000-2500 RPM, but at 3000 RPM, it's okay—not too sluggish, and it's sufficient for normal city driving.
And then there's the factor of the tires you're using. Using H/T-S, A/T-S, or M/T+ tires will affect the speed and driving feel differently.

Step on it hard, there's no underpowered car, only underpowered drivers. For naturally aspirated engines, 3000 RPM isn't considered high. Even for a 2.7 Highlander, you need to start at a bit over 3000 RPM.
