Whose car idles at 1000 RPM when warming up, and has anyone fixed it?

The idling of the 2011 model is currently normal in both winter and summer. It's a good idea to have an experienced Volkswagen mechanic check it out, as both the sensor and idle motor could be potential issues!

That's normal for me too.

My car should be at 600 RPM after 20 seconds. If it doesn't come down to 1,000 RPM, there's definitely a problem. If the engine oil is poor and the idling time is long, this issue doesn't occur when the outside temperature is 0 degrees.

Whenever the outside temperature hits zero degrees, my old car's engine idles at over 900 RPM even when it warms up to 90 degrees. But if the temperature is above zero, it drops to 700 RPM just 2.30 seconds after starting. I can't figure out the problem!

After starting, the engine's RPM drops after 2-3 minutes.

The automatic idle speed is 600 and it remains constant.

When I start the car cold, the idle speed is 800 RPM before the first service, and 850 RPM after. After driving for a while, when I stop, it settles between 700-750 RPM. However, the idle speed is adjustable. You might want to check with the 4S shop to see if they can help you with that.

You can adjust the idle speed. Just go to the dealership and have them adjust it for you.

When the car is warmed up, an idle speed of 1000 is indeed high. Normally, it should be around 750 to 800. It might be an issue with the idle speed motor.
