When starting on a slope with a temporary license plate and using auto hold at a gate, the car tends to roll back when pressing the accelerator after the gate opens. Have any experienced car owners encountered this issue? How do you solve it? Should I use the electronic handbrake? PS. I didn't have this problem with my previous Volkswagen Golf. When stopped on a slope, I just kept the brake pressed and it moved forward when I pressed the accelerator, without rolling back.

When I don't press the accelerator, the speed gradually drops to 0. What's going on?
Is the old model Smart really hard to drive? Does it roll back easily on slopes? I'm thinking of buying one, but I've only tried the new engine. Looking for advice from owners of the old model. 🙏
When I press the accelerator deeply, the car jerks, but it's fine with light acceleration. What's going on? It's a 2014 manual elite model.
4I went for a test drive at the dealership. The steering wheel felt heavy, maybe I'm not used to it. But why does it feel uncomfortable when lightly pressing the accelerator at low speeds? It's like something's holding you back from going fast, yet tempting you to press the pedal harder.
5Before driving, I can only shift gears by pressing the shift lock button, and once I shift back to the P gear, I have to press the lock button again to shift! The brake lights are working fine! I recently replaced the handbrake cable and gear cable. Has anyone else experienced this situation?
6What causes a jerking sensation when gently pressing the accelerator?
7Why did the hill-start assist fail on my 2018 Prado TXL, causing it to roll back on a slope? Has anyone experienced this before? How can I fix it? Thanks 🙏
8I didn't drive for two days, and when I started the car today, I noticed the engine warning light was on. For the first ten minutes or so, pressing the accelerator only increased the RPM, and the speed stayed below 20. After driving for about ten minutes, when I pressed the accelerator, there was a humming noise, and the speed gradually picked up. However, the fuel consumption display kept changing even when the car was parked or just started and not moving (or maybe I hadn't noticed this before). Can anyone advise what's going on? Has anyone experienced this before?
9Is it normal for the Haval Jolion Comfort edition to lurch slightly when you park on a slope, shift to P, engage the electronic handbrake, and then release the foot brake?
