Is it normal for the brakes to apply themselves without pressing the accelerator while driving?

When I press the accelerator while the car is stationary, it jerks like a newbie driving a manual car. But if I let it coast a bit after releasing the brake and then press the accelerator, it runs smoothly. Does anyone know what might be causing this? ╮（╯＿╰）╭

As you might know, in the Taycan's triple display, the middle one shows the speed by default, and when the power meter is checked, it shows acceleration and energy recovery levels—blue for acceleration and green for recovery. In my car, with the default set to normal mode, when I press the accelerator, the blue bar shows up normally. However, when I press the brake, the green bar doesn't show at all, although the car brakes fine. Does this mean my braking relies solely on mechanical brakes without energy recovery?
