If you left your car in D gear overnight and found it without power the next morning, it could be due to the battery being drained. Does anyone know why this happened?

If you discharge the battery once, will it become less durable?

Leaving the car in D gear while the electrical systems are still on can naturally drain the battery overnight.

I've been hearing a strange noise from the left side of the dashboard when I press the accelerator in the morning. It feels like a vibration. Have any of you experienced something similar? I'll upload a video next time.

The 2023 standard version Rubicon has an issue where if it's left for two nights, the brake pedal becomes very hard in the morning when I press it to start the car. I'm wondering if anyone else has experienced this issue with their Jeep. I went to the 4S dealership, and they checked the vacuum pressure, which was at 620 and held for a morning without any signs of leakage. Is using a smoke machine the only way to check it? Sigh 😮‍💨

Is there anyone else experiencing severe battery drain with their Hongqi H7? If I don't drive for four days, the car won't start due to significant battery loss.

Hi everyone, I've been having issues with my Hongqi H7 where the side mirrors often don't fold when I lock the car and the seat adjustment occasionally fails too. I noticed these problems tend to occur together. I had the wiring checked and charged the battery, which fixed it for a while, but then it started happening again. I thought it might be the battery losing charge, so I replaced it. It was fine at first, but then the problems came back. The mirrors fold manually without any issues inside the car; it's just when I lock the car that they don't fold, and the seat adjustment also fails!

If your T99's battery is seriously drained and loses power after just a week of being parked, there are a few steps you could consider: 1. **Check for Parasitic Drain:** Ensure that no electrical components are drawing power when the car is off. This might include lights, the radio, or other electronics. 2. **Battery Health Check:** Have the battery tested to see if it's in good condition. Sometimes, a faulty or old battery may need replacing even if the car has only run 12,300 km. 3. **Alternator Check:** Make sure the alternator is charging the battery properly when the engine is running. 4. **Battery Maintenance:** If the car is parked for long periods, consider disconnecting the battery or using a trickle charger to maintain the charge. 5. **Professional Help:** If the issue persists, it might be a good idea to consult with a professional mechanic to diagnose and resolve the problem. Dealing with battery issues can be frustrating, but these steps might help in identifying and fixing the problem.

Have you experienced a situation where your Asian Lion's battery drains overnight, making it unable to start?

When you open the fuel cap of your 2014 ASX and hear a sound of air being sucked in, it could be due to the pressure difference between the inside of the fuel tank and the outside air. This is usually normal and can happen because the fuel system is sealed to prevent fuel vapors from escaping. If the sound is frequent or you're experiencing other issues, it might be a good idea to have it checked by a professional.

What could be causing the wipers and headlights of my 2014 Peugeot 308 to activate automatically after locking the car? It's inconsistent and seems random, regardless of rainy or sunny weather. I recently took a trip, left the car under the sun, and when I returned, the wipers were upright, and the battery was completely drained. I just replaced the battery. It's really frustrating.

Is it normal for a Cayenne's battery to drain to the point where it can't be charged after not being used for a month in the third year? After replacing it with a new battery, it drains after about 20 days of not being used. This has happened several times. Is this normal?
