Without any exaggeration, the Tayron is the best driving SUV among these mid-size compact models. The Tayron feels more like a sedan, not like driving a boat. The driver doesn't feel like the car is too big, and overtaking is very confident. At 30 km/h, when you press the accelerator to two-thirds, it even causes wheel spin. This is something I couldn't imagine doing in the X-Trail. Also, Honda's 2.0T SUV has some power, but it's still not as punchy as the Tayron. The X-Trail, Wildlander, and CR-V also accelerate, but the feeling is completely different. Not to mention the Haval H6 and that popular Chery SUV, pressing the accelerator doesn't feel as powerful. Why is that?

That's not called tire scrubbing; it's torque steer, a common issue in front-wheel-drive cars, especially turbocharged models. When you press the accelerator hard, the torque suddenly kicks in. The front wheels are responsible for both steering and driving, while the rear tires just watch. If only some of the power was distributed to the rear wheels, it wouldn't lead to tire scrubbing. It's indeed easy to drive. When pulling out of our neighborhood parking spot, even with cars parked in front, sometimes I can get out in one go, and it's also very maneuverable. On the road, it overtakes smoothly. The width is similar to a sedan, but the suspension is a bit hard, not as comfortable as a sedan with moderate suspension flexibility.

Different strokes for different folks. As long as you buy what you like, that's all that matters. 👍👍👍

When the car is in D gear at idle, it feels weak (like an ant crawling), but when you press the accelerator, it becomes normal. In reverse gear, it doesn't move at all unless you press the accelerator. The car is a 2016 Haima S5.

Fault code P0504, currently gears 1, 2, 3 are fine, but when switching to 4th gear, the car loses power when pressing the accelerator and doesn't accelerate. The RPM drops very slowly when pressing the clutch. Has anyone else experienced this?

There's a rattling noise like a loose plastic shell when accelerating while driving, but it's not there when revving in neutral. The noise also disappears when you press the accelerator pedal down hard after accelerating.

Sometimes when I wait for the RPM to drop after starting the car, the engine noise is really loud. The sound gets louder or softer depending on how hard I press the accelerator, and the throttle doesn't feel as powerful as it usually does, requiring me to press it deeper. However, most of the time, this doesn't happen. After the RPM drops, the noise is normal.
