Choosing between the Envision, Tayron, and Escape can be tough 🤔... Can someone break it down for me? [Please]

The Ford Escape can be ruled out first, as it's an older model and not fuel-efficient. Between the VW Tayron and Buick Envision Plus, just go with whichever one you prefer. The Tayron has more rear space compared to the Envision Plus. The Envision tends to lean more in sharp turns, making its handling a bit worse than the Tayron. However, the Tayron's handling is also average, with a slow front-end response during sharp turns. The Envision has better in-car loudspeakers, a larger trunk, and more comfortable seats compared to the Tayron. The front seats of the Tayron are actually a bit narrow and the protrusions can be uncomfortable.

The Envision is not recommended. Our company's two Envision vehicles were fine initially, very stable on the highway, but after 70,000 to 80,000 kilometers, the repairs made us doubt our decision. I just test drove the Ford Edge and the VW Tayron yesterday. While the Edge's appearance may not compare to the Tayron, its handling and performance are slightly better, and it's noticeably quieter. However, the suspension is very stiff, and going over speed bumps creates quite a noise. When braking hard at 80 km/h, there's significant forward momentum. The Tayron has a more imposing look and is generally more acceptable. It's as stable as the Edge on the highway, and its suspension is better, but it's quite noisy. The features are more comprehensive than those of the Edge.

If you're not going for the four-wheel drive, don't choose the Envision Plus. With a budget of 160,000 for a Volkswagen SUV, go directly for the Envision Plus. Otherwise, consider the Tayron or Tiguan L.

I chose the Ford Escape, mid-range model for around 150,000 CNY on the road, using 92-octane fuel. It's been 3 months with no issues so far. The biggest downside is that it's easy to speed unintentionally. [I want to be quiet]

These three are still the Tayron, right? One is ugly, and one is a mild hybrid. 😊

The Ford Escape looks really ugly with its pointy nose, and it has a bunch of minor issues. Definitely ruling it out first.

Buy a RAV4. It's got good resale value, fuel-efficient, and high quality.

From the exterior and interior perspective, I think the Tayron looks better. In terms of driving, Buick and Ford perform better than the Tayron. At the time, I chose the Tayron 380 because it didn't have a particulate filter. Now, with no such difference, I believe that in this class of cars, you should just choose the one you find more attractive. At similar price points, there's no obvious winner.

I'm choosing the Tayue with the Envision 48V mild hybrid system [I just want some peace].
