The noise level is acceptable; I used to drive a similarly priced Corolla Cross, and its noise was actually louder than this car. However, one thing to note is that the Corolla Cross had a quicker start response, but this car has better power in the later stages.

There's no noise on smooth roads. Tire noise is definitely there on rough roads, but on new roads, there's no noise at all.
