The Volkswagen T-Roc has been driven for 120,000 kilometers and is showing a low coolant warning. When the radiator cap is opened, brown liquid overflows. After that, it continues to drive normally for 200 kilometers without any other issues, but the warning light remains on. What could be the problem and what is the brown liquid?

Coolant shouldn't be brown; it should be red or green. Did you add water, or maybe mix red and green antifreeze? That can turn it brown. Also, the coolant should be completely replaced. At 120,000 kilometers, it should all be new. Also, check the water pump while you're at it.
