I have a 2018 GS7, and there's a strange noise coming from the left shock absorber. It makes a "thud" sound when going over small bumps, but there's no noise over larger bumps. I went to the dealership, and they said there's an issue with the shock absorber and suggested replacing the assembly. However, they also mentioned that if I don't replace it, it's not a big issue, just the noise. I'm wondering how I should deal with this situation.

My 10-year-old 1.6 manual Peugeot 307 sometimes makes a sharp "squeak" sound, like metal rubbing against metal, when I'm shifting gears, releasing the clutch, or letting off the accelerator. Does anyone know what might be causing this? 🥲

After driving the Venza over bumpy roads, there's always a strange noise coming from the trunk, like something is rubbing or hitting against each other. The same noise happens when turning or going over speed bumps. I've removed all the tools from the trunk and taken off the plastic covers, but the noise is still there.
