Don't just look at the fuel gauge. Here's a method: when your fuel gauge hits red, add 200 or 300 RMB worth of fuel. Check the mileage and see if you can reach 400 or 600 kilometers by the next time the gauge hits red. If it's around 0.5 RMB per kilometer, there's nothing much to worry about. My friend's CT5 shows 10.1 liters per 100 kilometers on the meter, but with 300 RMB of fuel, he can still cover 550 kilometers, and on the highway, it can reach 650-700 kilometers. I feel it's acceptable, though not very good. My old Benben 1.0 could run almost 600 kilometers on 200 RMB, and about 700 kilometers on the highway, but back then, fuel was cheaper, around 6 RMB per liter.
