With a budget of 140,000, I'm considering buying a used 7-seater MPV. I'm currently looking at the 2018 imported Volkswagen Sharan and the 2015 Honda Elysion Luxury Edition. I drive about 10,000 kilometers a year. Which one should I choose? The Sharan is newer, has good safety features, and strong power, but maintenance and repairs are expensive, and it requires 95-octane fuel. The Elysion is older, but can run on 92-octane fuel, has lower maintenance costs, is more common, and retains its value well.

Why does the 2018 Sharan 2.0T 380 TSI consume 11.5 liters per 100 km? My Tiguan L 2.0T with low power version only consumes 7.3 liters per 100 km. I take good care of my car and accelerate gently, so why is the Sharan's fuel consumption so high? The major maintenance for the Sharan was just completed!
4Is the 2.2 MPV much more fuel-consuming than the 2.0? I've heard that the 2.2 engine technology is outdated, and when they released the 2.0, it became much more fuel-efficient. I'm sincerely asking for advice.
5I'm considering getting a 2015 1.8T Sharan. I've heard for a long time that this car has a serious oil consumption issue, and now I'm quite hesitant. Anyone familiar with this? Please let me know. Thanks!
6Considering getting a V60. Which one is more hassle-free, the older T5 or the newer B5? T5 has oil consumption issues and B5 has battery drainage problems. How should I choose?
7Hello everyone! I bought a Jeep Compass in 2017. The dealership initially said this car requires 95 octane fuel, and I've been using it since 2017. However, when I drive, there's a jerking sensation when I decelerate and then accelerate again. Also, when I turn on the air conditioning, the engine noise becomes particularly loud. My car has less than 30,000 kilometers and I mainly use it for commuting. Recently, I tried using 92 octane fuel, but I found that the power was insufficient. When I tried to overtake, the car wouldn't accelerate, unlike when using 95 octane. So, I'm wondering, what fuel do you all use? Which type is better for the car?
8If you're considering buying an RDX, it's generally recommended to look for models from recent years as they tend to have the latest safety features and technology. When choosing between a two-wheel drive (2WD) top trim and a four-wheel drive (4WD), it depends on your driving conditions. If you're mostly driving on highways and in urban areas, a 2WD might be sufficient and could offer better fuel economy. However, if you want extra traction and stability, especially in adverse weather conditions, a 4WD would be a safer option. In terms of safety, newer models typically have more advanced safety technologies. Always check the specific safety features available in the model year you're considering.
9In 2022, the car required 95 octane fuel, but for the 2024 model, it uses 92 octane fuel. I checked and it seems like nothing has changed. Why is that?
10Has anyone experienced this? I went to the 4S shop for the second maintenance of my GS8 fuel version, and they required adding a fuel system cleaner. They said it's mandatory according to manufacturer regulations.
