How's the fuel consumption of the Sharan? Is the combined fuel consumption around 10 liters? Can it maintain around 9 liters on the highway?

For those driving the Territory, what's your fuel consumption like? I've calculated mine to be around 10-12 liters per 100 kilometers. A full tank gets me 320 kilometers in the city and 450 on the highway.

I've had the car for almost a year, and it's run 34,000 kilometers. The fuel consumption is a bit high, over 9 liters. How can I solve this issue?
