Is the CVT in the Setus a steel chain or steel belt? The 7.99 version only lacks those two LED lights, right? It still uses halogen lights. I was initially considering the new TuYue 799 version, but when I saw that even the spare tire was downgraded, I was immediately discouraged. Now I'm looking at the Honda Binzhi and Setus. The Binzhi is 10,000 more expensive, so I'm considering the Setus. The only concern is why the headlights are still halogen.

It's a steel chain, but I recommend you at least go for the luxury version. I actually found that there are many differences and details between the luxury and comfort versions. Or you could also consider buying the Binzhi, which is not a bad choice.

Trust me, go for the lower trim with halogen headlights. Halogen lamps with lenses have better performance than LED lights. Plus, the cost of upgrading the lights later is much higher than with halogen lamps.
Don't worry too much about the headlights. The high-end LED lights might not be enough and upgrading to small matrix modules can be expensive. For the low-end halogen projectors, you can upgrade to a set of 3-inch LED projectors, which offers a good cost-performance ratio. [I want some peace]

Does anyone know if the Saitus CVT transmission uses a steel chain or a steel belt?

The headlights are halogen, but at least they come with a lens. You can just replace them with an LED bulb. It's not easy to modify LED lenses, as they lack brackets and the cost is high.

The headlights can be modified [grinning]. It's not a big issue.
