Hey folks, the 4S shop contacted me about replacing the central control screen. Has anyone else received this notification? This is for the 2025 BYD Seal.

The new screen was replaced later, and there's no noticeable difference from the original one.

I haven't encountered this situation yet. To be safe, you should contact BYD's official customer service first. Don't get tricked by the 4S dealership (most 4S shops are just dealers, not part of the BYD Group). They might swap out your genuine original screen. There's a lot of potential issues here, so be very cautious.

The technical project issued by the manufacturer is really baffling, even the 4S shop doesn't know why. It's quite absurd.
