Do I need to install a battery and motor guard?

The city is completely unnecessary.

I got the original aluminum motor and battery protection plates with my car purchase, so might as well install them. 😁 The original protection for the battery and motor on the Seagull is just something like a plastic sheet, which doesn't offer much protection. I believe it's worth installing the metal protection plates. You never know with small stones on the road causing scratches and scuffs. It's always better to upgrade the protection and be cautious.
