I have a problem with the brakes on my Volvo S80L. I've replaced all the brake fluid, but it still feels like the car doesn't stop well when reversing. The pedal is hard to press. Is it a clogged brake line, or could it be something else? Can anyone help analyze this issue?

Hey car enthusiasts, I'm having some brake issues with my 2010 Volvo S80L. The brakes work fine when moving forward, but there's a chance of brake failure during short-distance reversing. A few days ago, when I changed the brake fluid, it was noticeably slow to drain out before adding the new fluid. Could it be that the brake fluid line is clogged? The brake pads are still quite thick, so I can basically rule them out. Any advice from the experts? 😬😬😬

7Hi everyone, when I drive fast and press the brakes a bit hard, there's a thudding sound and the brake pedal feels like it's bouncing. This doesn't happen when I'm driving slowly or pressing the brakes lightly. Is this the ABS system kicking in or is it an issue with the brake pads? Also, regarding the temperature gauge on the dashboard, I remember it used to show two bars as soon as I started the car, right in the middle, but now it takes a few minutes to gradually rise half a bar at a time. Am I remembering wrong or is the coolant level low?
8Hey guys, when the car is off, should the brake pedal get harder the more you press it? My other two cars are like that, but the Patrol isn't as obvious, feels a bit soft. I changed the brake fluid last year, kind of worried. Is it the same for you? Thanks.
