The 2016 1.6 manual feels really sluggish when accelerating. Does anyone else have the same issue?

Try revving up to 5000 RPM before shifting gears, it'll definitely give you a thrill! Have you ever tried shifting at 5000 RPM for every gear? If not, even 3000-4000 RPM would work! Give it a try and let us know!

Don't you step on the gas? You're saying the power is weak when the RPM isn't even high enough. You might as well turn off the engine to overtake and then complain that the car isn't good because it can't overtake. When downshifting, give it some gas first; when upshifting, rev it up a bit. This is basic manual transmission operation. Whether you're upshifting or downshifting, get the RPM up to 2000 first.

This is a common issue with Haima. When the engine RPM is below 2000, the acceleration is like this. Once it goes over 2000 RPM, I usually overtake in 5th gear without changing gears.

Can fellow car enthusiasts add me on WeChat or invite me to a group? I feel it's a bit sluggish.
