Turn on the switch, accelerate to, say, 100, press set, and it's set. Release the accelerator and it'll maintain 100. If you brake, the cruise control cancels. To resume, press the res button, and it goes back to 100. If you turn off the switch, it's completely canceled. These buttons are all on the steering wheel, probably on the right side.
