When the air conditioning blows cold air for a while and then switches to hot air, and after being turned off for a bit, it works again before reverting to hot air, it's puzzling. Interestingly, this issue doesn't occur on rainy days or when the weather isn't too hot. What could be the cause of this situation?

I had the same issue. Replaced the refrigerant and did some system checks, but it didn't help. Later, found out it was a connector problem. Tightened it and it was fine. Just for your reference.
