Is it normal for the Volvo S40 2.0 with a six-speed dual-clutch to run at 3000 RPM when driving at 120 km/h on the highway?
My Volvo S40's battery seems fine. Why does the electrical system show a fault, and it starts smoking as soon as I start it? We've checked but can't find what's wrong.
Has anyone experienced occasional power loss with a 2006 Volvo S40? Sometimes the car loses power even when just listening to music.
4I want to buy an imported 2004 Volvo S40 with a 2.5 engine, and it has a genuine mileage of over 80,000 kilometers. It's been owned by an individual from the start. Can I find parts for it later, and how high are the maintenance costs?
5With a budget of 140,000, I'm considering buying a used 7-seater MPV. I'm currently looking at the 2018 imported Volkswagen Sharan and the 2015 Honda Elysion Luxury Edition. I drive about 10,000 kilometers a year. Which one should I choose? The Sharan is newer, has good safety features, and strong power, but maintenance and repairs are expensive, and it requires 95-octane fuel. The Elysion is older, but can run on 92-octane fuel, has lower maintenance costs, is more common, and retains its value well.
6Taycan owners, I have a question about a feature. As you might know, in the Taycan's triple display, the middle one shows the speed by default, and when the power meter is checked, it shows acceleration and energy recovery levels—blue for acceleration and green for recovery. In my car, with the default set to normal mode, when I press the accelerator, the blue bar shows up normally. However, when I press the brake, the green bar doesn't show at all, although the car brakes fine. Does this mean my braking relies solely on mechanical brakes without energy recovery? Is there a way to set it so the green bar shows normally when braking? I'm sincerely asking for advice, thanks everyone!
7Fellow Territory S owners, have you experienced a situation where the dashboard shows a message saying the transmission needs maintenance, and when you accelerate, the RPM increases but there's no power?

9Mini is too expensive. Are there any affordable alternatives with good performance? I've been thinking about Lynk & Co 02 and Zeekr X, as well as the smart, which is a bit more powerful. I really like the Mini, but it doesn't seem to offer great value for money. The cost of a three-cylinder Cooper could get you a Blue Mountain from AITO. It's really tough, and I'm also worried about the high maintenance costs. In short, I'm short on cash [facepalm].
10Is it a problem with the ignition switch if the Volvo S40 key is turned to the second position, but there's no power and it reports an engine anti-theft system fault? I changed the ignition switch, and now it's sometimes good and sometimes bad. Sometimes the dashboard lights up, sometimes it doesn't, and sometimes it even starts automatically.
