Is it normal for the Volvo S40 2.0 with a six-speed dual-clutch to run at 3000 RPM when driving at 120 km/h on the highway?

The 2.0 has this feature. The 2.4, with a different transmission, doesn't rev as high.

I didn't check how much fuel consumption it can reach. 😁😁

2.4L engine at 120 km/h is approximately 2700 RPM.

This car has a 2.0-liter engine. If you want it to run at 120 km/h with the same 2000 RPM as the current car, it will lack power and won't be able to run smoothly.

80 km/h at around 2000+ RPM, 120 km/h at about 3100 RPM.

At a speed of 100 km/h, the RPM is around 3000, and at 120 km/h, it exceeds 3000 RPM.

Don't even mention 120, I'm already at 3000 RPM at 60-80. My usual daily RPM is over 2000.

The transmission of this car is not good. Nowadays, even cars costing around a hundred thousand have better transmissions than this one.
