Do you experience jerking with your S40? After repairing the oil leak on mine, the low-speed jerking became very severe. I spent 7000 to repair the transmission, but there's still slight jerking. When starting, it jumps to 3000 rpm and then drops to 2000 rpm, with a fuel consumption of 15. I've already spent 10,000, and people say it's an old car, so it's normal. I'm wondering if you guys have experienced this situation!

My car also jerks in gears 1, 3, and 5. The mechanic said it's due to the clutch disc wear.

It's definitely not normal. I suggest you find a professional to fix it, as this car usually isn't something most people can repair.

Which year model do you have? Today, I was thinking of buying one with a typical fault, but when I inquired, the repair quote for the 2008 model 2.0 was 6500. So, I didn't buy it.

You could also try changing the oil first.

The transmission has an issue; my S40 doesn't jerk.

Is it normal for the Volvo S40 2.0 with a six-speed dual-clutch to run at 3000 RPM when driving at 120 km/h on the highway?

I've had my car for four and a half years and it's only done 36,000 km. It's a 2019 model with the 4J11 engine. Recently, when I start it cold, the engine struggles a lot. The RPM doesn't go up immediately, and the needle wobbles between 500 and 1000 for a few seconds, making it feel like it's about to stall. Then the RPM suddenly jumps to 2000-3000 before settling back to normal idle after a few seconds. There are no warning lights, and once it's running, everything seems normal. I've cleaned the carbon buildup and throttle, and checked the intake for leaks, but the issue persists. I'm not sure what to check next. What should I look into?

Here’s the situation: I just replaced the battery, but it's dead again. After starting the car, after a while, it reports a battery charging fault. Then the ABS and airbag lights also come on. When idling in place, after a while, the car will automatically shut off. When driving, it feels like it doesn't shift gears automatically, and I can't switch to manual mode either. Vehicle: Peugeot 207 1.6 Automatic. The battery wasn't great initially, and I didn't pay much attention to it, usually jump-starting the car. A few days ago, I replaced the battery. First, during driving, it started showing a battery charging fault. After a while, the ABS light came on, then the airbag light lit up as well. It's like a parade of warning lights. Now I'm wondering if it's worth repairing. What could be the issues?

Has anyone experienced their car's tachometer suddenly jumping above 3000 RPM and then dropping back down while driving?

My 2018 automatic ZS sometimes shakes when waiting at a red light after the vehicle warms up. Between 60 to 100 km/h, the car feels like it's being pulled back, and there's a strong jerking sensation. If I press the accelerator hard to over 3000 RPM, the jerking stops. Using cruise control to accelerate also avoids the shaking. Is this a transmission issue?

When lightly pressing the accelerator at low speeds, there's a slight jerk, and when the RPM drops below around 1100, there's a dragging feeling. What could be the problem?
