I accidentally hit the curb with my left rear wheel and the tire got damaged. During the four-wheel alignment, they said it couldn't be fully adjusted. If the tire is damaged, does it really require changing the shock absorber? Is it really that serious?

4After changing to new tires, the steering feels heavier. I always used Continental CPC2, but switched to Goodyear Assurance (also did a wheel alignment). It doesn't veer off course, but the steering feels heavier, and the accelerator is also heavier. For those who've changed tires, how do you feel about it? Also, a reminder: wheel alignment is a maintenance service, not mandatory. If you choose to do it, make sure to check the shop's equipment and skills. I feel it wasn't really necessary this time.
