What could be causing the central lock switch on the 2018 Dongfeng Renault Koleos 2.0 to work intermittently? Has anyone else experienced this issue, and how did you solve it?

After five years of use, the automatic locking system works fine, but the unlocking often fails, sometimes it's okay, sometimes it's not. During maintenance, the technician took it apart and said the metal contact plates were not functioning well. He cleaned them with alcohol and scraped them a bit, and it worked again. However, after a few days, the unlocking issue reappeared. My solution was to disable the automatic locking in the settings, so there's no need for the unlocking step when parking. This does compromise safety a bit.

The sensor switch behind the lock button under the central control screen is having poor contact. To fix it, you have to remove the screen. I've been using it like this, and now unlocking is not working well, but the automatic locking while driving is fine. Taking it apart might cause noise and it's not worth it. Although it's a bit inconvenient, I'm used to it.
