Does anyone know if the shock absorbers for the 2.5 imported Koleos are compatible with those of the X-Trail?

I just bought a small Volvo, 2008 model. The condition is pretty good, but the shock absorber springs are too hard. Have any of you experts replaced them, or know which other cars have compatible parts? Thanks!
