How is the performance of the Toyota Prado? Is it particularly fuel-intensive?

Personal views on the Prado: 1. Introducing a turbocharger and a power battery for the first time may compromise its durability. 2. Given the vehicle's size and weight, it's not very suitable for city use, especially with increasing parking difficulties and fuel consumption being quite inconvenient. 3. The seating layout, like the 5-seater and 6-seater, just adds an extra row of seats in the back. The 5-seater still has cup holders in the rear, making the design seem awkward and makes the 5-seater version look odd. 4. The 2.4T engine displacement is essentially to avoid displacement tax, and the high battery in the trunk contradicts Toyota's original design intentions. 5. With a starting price of 400,000 in North America and 450,000 domestically, it's puzzling how a once-discontinued model has the confidence to be priced so high. It seems like the decision-makers might have been out of touch. 6. With a monthly production of 3,000 units, it's clearly not a mass-market vehicle, but rather a model aimed at capturing nostalgic sentiments.

Toyota cars are not known for performance models but are renowned worldwide for their stability and durability. With the new 2.4T hybrid and the new TNGA architecture, the chassis tuning is better compared to the previous 4.0. The fuel consumption for the 4.0 VX is around 15 liters (for a company car with 300,000 kilometers), while the 2.4 Camry is about 11-12 liters. For a 2.4T turbocharged car weighing close to 2.5 tons, 13 liters is normal.
