Why are there so few GTS 2.5 and S models? [Facepalm][Facepalm]

When using the paddle shift manual mode in the HS with the S gear, do I need to press the brake pedal to change gears? In the past, when I drove a fully manual transmission, there was a clutch pedal. [Facepalm][Facepalm][Facepalm][Facepalm]
