Hi everyone, I'm a newbie here and I have a question. When you park your Panamera on a slope and put it in P, does it roll a bit and make a loud clunk sound when you release the brake? And when you shift from P to N, is there also a clunk sound? My new car makes a really loud noise. It's scary, I almost thought I got hit.

How many kilometers has the car done?

You didn't mention the model year of the car. Isn't it pointless to ask this question?

Shift to neutral, pull the handbrake, release the foot brake, and finally shift into P gear to avoid the clunking sound.

There will be, but not that loud. It happens on steep slopes, not gentle ones, since the car has a heavy body.

That's normal, I had it happen once too when my car was new. It happened after a few hundred kilometers. I parked the car, pressed the P gear, and there was a loud bang. It startled me.
