What changes occur after modifying a Navara with a turbocharger?

Fuel consumption has increased, and the failure rate has gone up. Even reverting back doesn't help much. However, there's a slight improvement when off-roading uphill (not noticeable during regular driving) and a bit of improvement at high altitudes. Other than that, nothing else.
