Without an underground garage, it's probably not a good idea to buy a convertible, especially a soft-top.

Washing the car is such a hassle.

You can cover the soft top with a car cover, but avoid parking under trees due to resin and bird droppings. The roof is hard to clean. Also, don’t use car covers with fuzz on the soft top, as it will attract a lot of lint that's hard to remove, like a sweater sticking to your T-shirt. Of course, having a garage is the most convenient option.

Yes, without a garage, it's better to honestly buy a family car.

If you have purchased a second-hand 2009 Peugeot 307 sedan with a 1.6 automatic engine and it has run 150,000 kilometers, and you notice that it runs at 3300 RPM at 120 km/h on the highway, you might want to consider changing the transmission oil. It's generally a good idea to check the maintenance history of a used car and ensure that essential fluids like transmission oil are fresh, especially if you are experiencing high RPMs.
