Y has dropped in price again. I'm planning to switch to a Tesla by the end of the year. I'm really torn between getting the YP or a used 2019 Model X with modified suspension. I've only driven the YP and haven't tried the X. Can any fellow car enthusiasts offer some honest advice? My budget is 45.

Buy a new electric car, not an old one.

The appearance of the Tesla hasn't changed much; buying the Model X is more for the prestige.

Certainly with the YP, a second-hand non-P version of the X can't give you the handling and power experience of the YP. Plus, the X has a lot of issues, while the Y has been tested by millions of people, so driving it gives you peace of mind.

When it comes to electric cars, it's better to buy new rather than old. These vehicles depreciate rapidly after five years. However, if you already have a regular car, buying a second-hand one for fun isn't a big deal.

As an experienced used car dealer, let me tell you: buy X, not YP. Once you drive it, you'll understand—it's all about getting what you pay for.

It's better to be a big fish in a small pond. YP owners recommend YP, as a 2019 second-hand X is too old. If it's not the Performance version, the handling and power won't match up to YP. It won't give you the driving dynamics and power you're looking for unless you don't care about those aspects and just want a comfortable ride for grocery shopping, then go for X.

How's the range efficiency of this car? Is the charging really as fast as advertised? Are there any issues with driving it currently? I'm a blue plate Model S owner, and I'm considering switching to either the Model X or the Eletre. The Eletre does appeal to me a lot, but Tesla is still the leader in electric cars with its stable products (despite some minor build quality issues, but no problems while driving). Can any owners share some insights or pitfalls?

Which model offers free supercharging? I'm considering paying extra to trade my 2020 Model Y for a used Model X with free supercharging.

Cullinan or Model Y? The Cullinan looks very grand, but the Model Y, being fully electric, saves on fuel costs and also has an advantage in terms of acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h. I'm torn.

Considering the recent price drop of the Tesla Model S/X Plaid and the fact that next year, purchases over 300,000 will require a purchase tax, will the ELETRE also see a price reduction?

I currently have a Modou Y and I'm considering either a Macan S or a Taycan. Which one would be more practical? Is there a significant difference in driving a Taycan compared to a Tesla?

Model X owners, what cars are you upgrading to or purchasing? I currently have a 2017 Model X 100D 5-seater, which is over 4 years old. Recently, when going out with my daughter, I often have to let her mom drive so I can sit in the back with her. The rear seats are really uncomfortable, and my daughter tends to get carsick easily. I'm thinking about getting another car, considering 6-7 seat SUVs or MPVs, but haven't decided yet. What have you all bought?

I'm looking to get a 2023 Tesla Model X, either the 5-seater or the 7-seater.

Does the HiPhi X, with only a few hundred kilometers on it from the dealer, have any issues if the battery has been left for two to three years? I'm unsure if I should go for it. Also, I'm torn between getting the 2021 model or the 2022 model. The 2021 model accelerates faster. [sad]

I need some guidance from the experts. I'm new to cars and currently, my family doesn't own one. My husband works nearby, but I commute 40 kilometers to the suburbs for work every day. We live in an old neighborhood without home charging facilities, and I'm thinking of buying a new energy vehicle. I've had my license for six years but haven't driven much. I liked the appearance of the Zeekr X but heard the rear space is small. Personally, I like Zeekr and Ora, and I'm also considering Deepal. I'm really confused and don't know which car to buy. Any advice from the experts would be appreciated.
