I've taken a few rides in a Tesla, and the back seat feels too hard. The ride isn't stable, and the acceleration is uncomfortable, almost making even those who don't get carsick feel queasy. Plus, the interior feels as rough as an unfinished room. Definitely a thumbs down, I won't be buying it.

You might want to check out the BYD Tang War God Edition or the Han War God Edition. The acceleration is smooth, the interior features suede, and the configuration is high, yet the price is affordable. However, they're not fully electric. Not sure about how the Han drives, but the Tang is quite good.

Does the G80 have any interior odors? I used to drive an XC60, and it didn't have any smell at all—the cabin was very comfortable. However, Volvo's soundproofing isn't great. I took a ride in a car-hailing service today, and there was an indescribable odor inside the car. Not sure if it was a plastic smell or something else, but even though it was faint, it made sitting inside uncomfortable. I don't know how the driver tolerates it. I test drove the G80 and noticed a bit of a smell, but it wasn't unpleasant. It definitely can't compare to a new Volvo. I'm curious if the smell will still be there after one or two months. With my previous XC60, even after being parked under the sun, there was no noticeable odor inside. Any G80 owners care to share their experience?

After 8 years with my old petrol car, it started burning oil, and I noticed a lot of people around me were switching to electric vehicles. That got me thinking. I was originally planning to get the top-spec Tank 300 (Menglong), and during the National Day holiday I went for a test drive — it met my expectations.On the way back, I stopped by a Jetour dealership and saw the T2. My daughter instantly fell in love with the exterior and interior — it completely overshadowed the Menglong in her eyes. Looks clearly played a big role, and after a test drive, it felt good enough. Since I don’t really need 4WD for daily driving, I booked it right away. Looking back now, I do wish I had waited for the 4WD version — a bit more power would’ve been nice.For this type of vehicle, electric power saves a lot. For daily use, my cost is just around 0.10 AED/km (charging at home on off-peak rates of 3.3 AED/kWh). My daily round-trip to work is under 20 km, so I only charge every four days, when the battery hits around 20%.For long-distance trips, I don’t bother with charging — it’s too much hassle. I just set the car to preserve 60% battery and drive on petrol. Even if fuel consumption is slightly higher, it’s fine since I only do a few road trips per year.The car is heavy and feels solid on the road. Acceleration is decent, but the 4WD version definitely would’ve offered better power and confidence. I’ve had the car for over half a year now. So far, the only issue has been a slight noise from the steering system — which was fixed. Other than that, no major problems. Buying a car always involves a bit of luck anyway.The biggest downside is the driver assistance system — it lags behind the competition. The infotainment system has improved a bit with the latest 4.11 update, but it still has room for improvement.Overall, I’m quite satisfied. I bought the full-option 600 km version of the electric EZ6, and honestly, I’m very satisfied with it. It really drives like a petrol car — the transition was easy, and I didn’t feel much difference. I only use it in the city, and so far, it’s averaging around 11.3 kWh per 100 km, which is excellent. The car is rear-wheel drive with an impressively tuned suspension. Cornering at 60–80 km/h feels smooth and stable — it really grips the road, making it perfect for mountain roads. I honestly wouldn’t recommend test driving it unless you’re ready to buy — it’s that convincing! The interior is elegant, with 14 speakers and great sound quality. However, one small issue: there’s no light on the vanity mirror, which can be a bit annoying. After installing the rear spoiler, I noticed what seemed like improved efficiency — maybe due to better aerodynamics, or maybe just my imagination. In eco mode, the car can get close to 600 km of range in the city — without using the A/C. In summer with A/C on, it drops to around 550 km. If you switch to sport mode and drive over 100 km/h, the consumption can go over 15 kWh per 100 km. One downside is the limited infotainment system — despite the great sound system, you’re mostly stuck with music. Also, some settings have to be manually re-enabled every time you start the car — probably for safety reasons. As for comfort, my family loves it — especially the kids in the back. The wireless phone charger works perfectly, and Bluetooth connects quickly. The trunk is very spacious, and there’s even extra storage under the hood, which is great. I take good care of the car — I always use a car cover when parking outside, and the interior really gives off a premium feel. During the day, I try to save energy by turning off unnecessary lights and filters. One feature I really love is the remote parking after getting out — it’s super accurate and genuinely useful. Honestly, it’s a great car and definitely worth test driving if you’re considering an EV.

Overtaking at 120 km/h is tough; the acceleration just doesn’t keep up, and it feels risky. That said, I have to give credit to the car’s off-road capabilities — it handles rough or muddy roads surprisingly well and won’t leave you stuck.

Honestly, the Lexus LX570 after its mid-cycle update has become more eye-catching than ever. The exterior design is bold, with a mix of luxury and modern flair that attracts younger buyers — and even older ones might find it impressive. But once you step inside, especially after hearing it's a full-size SUV, you're surprised to find the interior space isn't as generous as expected. I'm 180 cm tall and weigh 70 kg, and after adjusting the driver's seat to a comfortable position, there was only about 8 cm of legroom in the back — which feels tight for a car at this price point. That said, the interior materials are undeniably premium — the leather is soft and luxurious, and the entertainment and comfort features help make up for the space issue. Performance-wise, the 5.7L V8 engine offers plenty of power, but the throttle response is smooth and gradual. The car feels heavy, and the hydraulic steering gives almost no road feedback, with a noticeable delay between input and response. It honestly feels like you're driving on a mattress — completely isolated from the road, which doesn’t inspire much confidence if you're driving aggressively on pavement. However, if you think of it as an off-road vehicle, the story changes. The light steering actually helps absorb kickback when driving over rough terrain, and the adjustable air suspension gives you flexibility depending on the terrain. I bought the 2025 Passat 380 Star Edition, and since we already have a 2024 330 Elite model at home, I was able to directly compare the two. The main differences come down to a few added features — like extra millimeter-wave radars, one additional camera, and three more ultrasonic sensors. Most of the other specs are nearly identical. The biggest improvement I noticed is in the adaptive cruise control, which is now more responsive and accurate. The rear parking sensors also trigger more easily. Fuel consumption is actually quite good: on highways and elevated roads, it averages around 7.1 L/100 km — nearly the same as the 330 (which ranges between 6.8 to 7.2 L). As for space, it's one of the main reasons I chose this car. We’ve got kids in the family, and this car is mainly for weekend outings and family use. Compared to the Magotan, the Passat offers better ride comfort, and its 2.87m wheelbase ensures a roomy interior. Feature-wise, the Passat covers everything needed for daily use: side mirrors that tilt automatically when reversing, ventilated and heated seats, auto hold, adaptive cruise, and active braking. It’s all there and makes daily driving much more convenient. Now for the downsides: the infotainment system feels outdated. The screen is too small, there's no built-in navigation worth using, and no wireless phone connectivity, which is a letdown in 2025. Also, there’s still a bit of jerkiness at low speeds that hasn’t been addressed. The gear shifter is still wrapped in leather but looks pretty basic. Overall, at this price point, the Passat is still a solid choice. It doesn’t have any major flaws, and it’s a good all-around car — perfect for someone who wants a reliable, practical ride without too much fuss or flash. Not the flashiest design, but definitely a sensible and balanced option.

Since the end of last year, I’ve been keeping an eye on the Mercedes E300. Thankfully, I had been working hard on myself and building my own business, and over time, I was able to establish a solid financial foundation. So I decided it was time to reward myself with a car I love—something that would reflect years of effort, while also offering comfort and luxury for me and my family. In March, when Mercedes brought back their offers, I didn’t hesitate—I went ahead and got the car. The young guy at the dealership was respectful and provided excellent service from start to finish. Thankfully, I was able to choose a special license plate number too, and I was very satisfied! Now that I’ve driven it for 2,000 km, I can confidently say: Engine Performance The 2.0L high-power turbo engine performs excellently—even at high speeds. At low speeds in the beginning, you might feel the gear shifts are a bit hesitant, but after that, everything becomes smooth. I pushed it up to around 170 km/h, and the car was stable, with very minimal cabin noise. Handling I’ve owned more than 7 cars in my life, ranging from small economy cars to luxury SUVs, but the E300L really stands out with its balance and control. Driving it is comfortable, the steering is smooth and precise, and above all, you get a real sense of luxury. Mercedes has a kind of prestige that’s hard to describe—you can almost feel it flowing through the car. After a long day at work, you can’t help but relax and drive with ease and confidence. Ride Experience From my perspective, the car is incredibly comfortable. The front seats come with leg extensions, and the center console with its large screens gives off a high-tech vibe. Add to that the 64-color ambient lighting and the insane quality of the Burmester sound system—it's truly something else. The interior design is elegant, simple, and user-friendly, with no clutter or button overload—a testament to Mercedes’ deep design experience. Even the rear seats now have electric adjustments and a leg rest, making the back-seat experience extremely comfortable.

To be honest, I didn’t buy the Corolla out of strong conviction at first. Back in April, I quickly bought a used car from the local market before the Eid holidays. Turned out to be a total disaster. From February 2 to early April, I drove about 4,600 km because I was using it for errands after work and even took a long round trip to Alexandria. One thing I really noticed is that the car doesn’t handle rough roads well—you really feel the bumps. In traffic, sometimes the car shakes a bit when moving slowly around 10 or 15 km/h—not always, but it happens. There's also a faint squeaking noise, like the A/C button is slightly loose—it only shows up on bumpy roads. Still, none of this changes the fact that the car is generally reliable and stable. It drives easily, and honestly, I’m quite content with it—especially after what I went through with that used car. For anyone thinking about getting a Corolla, just be realistic about what you’re looking for. It’s a great car for someone who wants something long-lasting, even if there are a few things that aren’t perfect.
