My Mitsubishi ASX struggles to go beyond 140 km/h on the highway, even with the pedal almost to the floor. The RPM is between 2600-2800. Usually, when driving, the accelerator feels a bit sluggish. Does anyone know what could be the reason?

The car only starts to show its true performance at 4200 RPM.

When driving at 130 km/h, the wind noise becomes really loud.

I reached 140 km/h without fully pressing the accelerator.

On the highway, I often start at 180 km/h. I'm driving a manual, with the RPM at 4000. The power comes as I press the pedal. [I want some peace] I only overtake others, never the other way around.

Today I was driving at 110 km/h. Got a bit angry and immediately accelerated to over 160 km/h. Then slowed down. The response was really quick.

My 2016 car with a 1.6L engine once hit 200 km/h back in 2018. I had the pedal to the metal, but couldn't go any faster. Ah, those were the days when I was young. Now, with a family and responsibilities, I don't dare to drive that fast anymore. [I need some quiet time]

Dear car enthusiasts, my little lion is a 2015 Peugeot 3008 premium version, and recently the fuel consumption is quite high at 11.6. It struggles to accelerate to around 80 km/h, even when I floor the accelerator. Does anyone know what might be causing this?

I'm a newbie... Can I ask how to drive gently to save fuel? I have a 2013 automatic GLS 2.0, and I can only get about 450 km per tank (-̩̩̩-̩̩̩-̩̩̩-̩̩̩-̩̩̩___-̩̩̩-̩̩̩-̩̩̩-̩̩̩-̩̩̩). I haven't been on the highway, usually just driving in the city at around 50/60 km/h, and on national roads at 80 km/h, never accelerated to 100 km/h...

The 2017 Land Cruiser with an automatic transmission struggles to accelerate when flooring the gas pedal, with the RPM not going above 2300, causing slow acceleration. However, when using cruise control, the acceleration is faster, and the RPM can increase. What might be the reason for this?

I have a 2007 Skoda Octavia with a manual transmission. It's really fuel-efficient on the highway, especially stable at 120-140 km/h. Even in rural areas, it only consumes about 4-5 liters per 100 km at 80 km/h. I checked the chassis the other day, and it's not rusty at all. I'm thinking about replacing it, but I'm really attached to it.
