Is there a delay with your accelerator? If you suddenly accelerate, does it delay about 1 second and then have a severe jerking feeling?

It's normal for turbocharged cars to behave like this. Naturally aspirated engines are a bit better in this regard. It also relates to the transmission; when you suddenly accelerate, the transmission will downshift.

Do you experience jerking with your S40? After repairing the oil leak on mine, the low-speed jerking became very severe. I spent 7000 to repair the transmission, but there's still slight jerking. When starting, it jumps to 3000 rpm and then drops to 2000 rpm, with a fuel consumption of 15. I've already spent 10,000, and people say it's an old car, so it's normal. I'm wondering if you guys have experienced this situation!

A few questions about the old Levante for the experts here. I bought the Levante as soon as it was released, from the first batch. 1. When in traffic and following at low speeds, the car jerks noticeably. Sometimes when I lightly press the brake and then the accelerator, the car suddenly jerks forward. 2. In cold conditions, the car can't move. It needs to warm up first; otherwise, the accelerator becomes very sensitive and only normalizes once the car is warm. 3. This is the most uncomfortable issue: the steering feels unstable. Especially on ring roads with uneven surfaces due to heavy trucks, the steering wheel moves erratically. I have to hold it firmly with both hands, or it will sway. I would appreciate any expert advice on these issues. Thank you very much!

Registered in November 2015, 1.5T Luxury version, driven 100,000 km. Recently, when accelerating a bit too hard, it feels like it shifts to neutral; the engine revs, but the dashboard still shows D gear. If I release the gas pedal and wait for a second or two, then accelerate slowly, it goes back to normal. I can't accelerate suddenly, only gradually. Has anyone else experienced this problem? It's been repaired several times but still not resolved.

Hey car enthusiasts, have you ever experienced a jerky start, where you accelerate but the car doesn't move immediately, and then suddenly jumps forward after a few seconds?

Hey fellow MG ZS owners, have you noticed any severe discoloration on the edges of your front windshield?

Has anyone experienced repeated jerking at a certain RPM (mine is at 1500-1600)? Lightly pressing the accelerator to maintain this RPM causes repeated jerking, but it stops if I accelerate more or release the pedal. This issue has randomly appeared several times and then mysteriously resolved itself.

When starting the Jetour X90 Zilong, the throttle response is decent, and the power comes immediately. However, after reaching 70 km/h and releasing the throttle, if you want to accelerate again, there's a 1-second delay before the power suddenly kicks in. This isn't the same as getting power instantly when you press the throttle. What's going on here?

I have a 2023 JETOUR X90 Zilong. When driving at low speeds, if I press the accelerator, the car suddenly surges forward. However, after reaching 70 km/h, if I release the accelerator and then try to accelerate again, there's about a 2-second delay before the car suddenly surges forward. Is this throttle response delay a common issue?

When driving, sometimes when I press the accelerator, I feel a jerk, like there's suddenly no power, and then it's fine again. What's going on? Does anyone else have the same issue?
